10 changes in kids life that parents should do after corona



In this critical time of corona, when the science is busy to find the solution to tackle this disease. All the parents are worried about their children's protection. Some people said children should stay at home. Dear Parents, Do you really think that if our kids stay at home, then we can ensure their safety from this disease(corona)?
It is the same as we know danger is in front of us and we close our eyes and wait it will go back their self. 
Then, what to do? 
Prepare your little soldiers to fight with this dangerous enemy (corona) to adopt some changes in their daily lifestyles. At least, unless we don't get the permanent solution. Let's discuss a few changes in kids lives that we should do after a corona.
Keep your hands sanitized
10 changes in kids life that parents should do after corona(COVID-19)

1. Use of Mask
You should encourage your kids to wear mask regularly while moving outside home, even during playing. If anyone at your home is not feeling well then ask your kids to wear mask to interact with them. Also keep in mind it doesn't mean that you ask your kids to wear mask and you avoid to use it. Children are always follow their parents. They try to copy them. So, First of all you make a habit to wear mask yourself.

In starting, if your kid feel discomfort to wear mask. Then you can put on loose cotton cloth for few minutes. Slowly-Slowly increase the wearing time and replace cloth with mask if comfortable. Kids age doesn't matter. A few month old child can also wear a mask, if you make a habbit to them. 
Also wear mask in your celebrations and click in pics with the mask. So that your kids enjoy to wear mask instead of hesitate infront of others.

Once it comes in their habits then you don't need to recall them to wear mask.

2. Wash hand habits
All the parents always ask their kids to wash their hands properly. But never tell them the right method. As we already discuss that kids copy their parents. As they look their parents to wash hands and do the same. If we don't wash our hands properly then how to ask our kids to clean it properly. Stand with your kids while they wash hands and tell them the right way.

Steps to wash hands properly:
1. Wet your hands
2. Take a small quantity of hand wash or rub soap properly.
3. Rub hand wash on the each and every corner of hands properly for 20 seconds.
4. Don't froget to rub tips of your fingers.
5. Now, wash your hands with water.
6. At last clean it with cotton cloth/ hanky or  towel.


In the case of emergency, when you are outside or lack of water/soap/handwash carry sentizer in your cars or in your pockets in the form of pouch.


Our duty is not stop here, we also tell them to wash hands after a interval while we contact with some objects or persons.

Also recall your kids after doing following activities you have to wash hands:
1. Before and After Eating
2. After Releasing Urine
3. After Cutting nails

3. Avoid Chilled Drinks
Softdrinks, Icreams and Cold water is favourite of children as well as youngers specially in summers. But, in the time of corona, we specially take cake of throat and chest. Chilled drinks can increase the danger of corona. So ask your kids to avoid these drinks and icre-creams. But, they are kids they don't have that level of controlling power that they ignore these chilled products.
First of all, you leave your own habbit or wish to enjoy these items. You have to be a little bit restrict to your kids if they rigid to eat or drink chilled products.

It's a little bit difficult but not impossible. Because, in this time of corona when kids are at home and their family memebers are spending maximum time at home. We can ask our kids that we can't go outside and we can't buy any products even ice-creams from outside. They understand it easily as they watch that you all are at home from few months and didn't buy any fast food and ready mate items from shops.

4. Daily bath
Just wash hands is not enough. Kids should have daily bath so that if any other part of body comes in the contact of germs then we easily hold it and decrease the effect of it. More than it, always keep in mind daily bath doesn't mean if your child is not feeling well then you give the bath to him to protect from germs of corona virus. First of all in the morning check the physical condition of a child. 
There should not a same time for daily bath specially for child. First he takes a proper sleep and after that when he wake up give 20 to 30 minutes to relax and then give bath to him. Don't use chilled water for bath even in summers. Because children's body is so sensitive. Chilled water can be reason of cold or cough, which can easily increase the chances of germs to attack on kid's body like corona virus.

Kids can take more than one bath daily depends on the weather and how many time your kids go outside the home and interact with the outsiders during the outside visit in a day. 

5. Take heavy meal
Good immunity is the best solution to fight with any germs whether it is corona or any other. Because if the immunity of a kid is not strong, then carelessness in other kind of protections like wearing mask, hand wash, daily bath and comes in contact in other persons can be dangerous for your kid. But if his immunity is strong then you can be tension free to an extent. 
For a strong immunity following products should be include in daily diet of kid.
1. Milk (1 glass  minimum two time)
2. Nuts ( quantity depends upon age)

3. Fruits ( Both solid (Banana, Apple etc..) and liquid fruits ( Orange, Sweet lime etc)

4. Ginger, onion and garlic tempering (Tadka) in vegetables.
5. Oats, Kichdi, Broken Wheat (Daliya) (on ulternative days)
6. Boiled Chickpeas ( Chana) and its boiled water.
These products helps to strong the immunity of both kids and youngers.
Aviod Fastfoods and fried food items which disturbed the immunity system of a child.

6. Maintain social distance
We all are familiar with this word "Social Distancing". If you ask someone what it means then he said make a distance from others. But how it help us to prevent from corona?
As we all aware that the corona virus is a transferable virus. Which can easily transfer from one object to other. If we comes in the contact of any object or item which is corona effected then we can easily suffer from this virus. Being a elder we understand it and can maintain it easily by communicate withe our friends on phones/ video calls, work from home etc. But what about our kids? When they get a chance to meet friends the forget all the restrictions. They usually do hand shake, hugs and sharing. So first of all, we have to teach them to maintain social distance through any game and activity on regular basis. Play the games with them which follows social distancing.

Don't forget the child always try to follow you. So when you get a chance to meet your friends and relatives, Please maintain social distance so that when your child looks you to do it. He tries to do the same.

7. Regular Excercise
Every parent wants his kid should be strong. A healthy kid is that kid who is strong physically as well as mentally. Good food can help to be strong your kid physically but side by side you should consider his mental growth. Which is only possible by regular exercise and concentration. It also helps to improve the immunity and physical strength of your kid, which gives the power to your little soldiers to square up virus-like corona. Exercise should be at a proper time and in proper posture. 
Seven (7) things you have to keep in mind to suggest exercise to your kid:
1. Two times Exercise (In Morning and Evening)
2. Simple Exercise (Exercise should be according to age)
3. Max time duration: 30 mins for kids (according to age)
4. Don't do exercise after taking a meal.
5. Don't do exercise in AC rooms as well as under fans or coolers.
6. Do exercise in Fresh Air.
7. Don't ask your kid to do exercise if he/she doesn't feel well.

8. Clean your throat(Gargle):
As doctors suggest to beat the corona virus, we especially clean our throat regularly so that sputum will not collect in our throat and we improve our breath system. Gargle is the best solution to clean the throat. But it is a little bit difficult for kids to do gargle. 
You have to follow a few steps that will help you to teach your kids to do gargle in a better way:

1. Take lukewarm water in a favourite mug/cup of your kid mix a pinch of salt in it.
2. Simultaneously you have to take water in another cup.
3. Give your cup in kids hand and hold his favourite mug in your hand.
4. Ask your kid to give a sip of water from your mug. Then you do the same.
5. After that do it again and now ask him not to drink water. Just move the neck slightly on upper side.
6. Ask him to hold the water and after a second ask to split. Repeat it 3-4 times.
7. Now, you teach the gargle sound with holding water. But keep in mind don't ask to hold water more than 1-2 seconds.
8. Repeat the procedure 3-4 times.
9. Congrats, Now your kids is ready to do the gargle by himself.

9. Avoid sharing of products
Kids love to share their toys, games, books, colours and dresses etc. with their friends and siblings. But after corona, we have to teach them to avoid doing this. Because you know very well children are so sensitive, they can easily be affected by germs and viruses. When they come in contact with others and share their things. May be to whom or whose item they are using can be affected by a coronavirus. It is also a part of social Distancing.

Don't share your things with others in front of your kids, so that you can easily teach them to do the same.

10. Avoid using ACs
We use ACs to get relief from the summer or humidity. As we know AC soak the humidity of your body as well as objects present in the room. If anyone who is affected by coronavirus is present in the same room whether the same time or before you. AC will also soak the humidity from his body. When this humidity moves in room through Ac's system.  It effects you very easily. To protect your kids from corona virus, avoid to use AC's  in your kids rooms.

All of the above changes are not only for your kids. You also have to follow them to betterment your family and kids. Because once you effect from this virus, your family will automatically effect from this virus.
